Buyer Resources

As a buyer in the real estate market, there are many choices - what area, what type of home, what floor plan, pre-owned or new construction, what type of mortgage will work best for your financial goals, etc... - you will need someone to help and to represent you.  You may visit open houses, visit a builder's model or call the agent' whose name is on the sign in front of the house you are interested in - keep in mind this agent represents the seller, working to get them the highest price on the home.  You want an agent that is committed to you and your best interests so be sure to ask about Buyer Representation to ensure someone is on your side!

If you are thinking new construction, please make sure you are represented and don't face the builder's sales representative alone.  Having an agent represent you when buying new construction costs you nothing because any compensation given to an agent is recognized by the builder as a marketing fee and has no impact on the final cost of the home.  Your experienced agent will be able to ensure you receive the best value for your money and any extras that might be available.  Your agent will also be able to help you find homes with the location, amenities and quality that will provide you with the best opportunity for resale.  An agent's experience, knowledge and reputation represent strength and leverage on your behalf.

As a member of the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) I can provide information and show you any homes on the market, not just Keller Williams properties.  Using one agent will make finding your dream home easier.  As a service to my buyers, I take the time upfront to ask about what is important to you in your new home - more than just the number of bedrooms and bathrooms.  Once I really understand what you are looking for in your new home I  can select homes to view based on those amenities.  I will also update you daily on any new homes on the market that meet your criteria and will preview most properties before you visit to ensure we make best use of your time.

Once we find the home you want to own, I will be able to provide you with neighborhood information on sales in the neighborhood and help you prepare and negotiate the offer.  After your offer is accepted, there is still a lot to do and I will be there to keep you updated through closing and moving day.  I assure you constant communication throughout the entire process and you will always know "what's next".

Please feel free to look at the resources below that might assist you in the buying process.  I would be happy to visit with you about the process, answer any questions you might have, or start finding you the perfect home today -just let me know.  Remember - don't spend valuable time trying to do it yourself by driving around or searching the internet - put me to work for you.  Save time and money by calling me today @ 214.448.6879.
